Throughout my whole life, I have learned many lessons by failing, succeeding, and by trying. One of my top lessons that I have learned that involves school was in 2022. In 2022, I was trying to pass a test in my school called TSI in order for me to be able to get enrolled into college classes during my junior and senior year. When I was taking the test, I was a bit nervous because the test results determined the types of classes I would be enrolled in and it would also determine if I was going to be on the right path to earn my associates degree.
The first time that I took the test I failed. I felt useless, not smart enough, and not academically enough. I felt really down when I found out I failed the test because I was hoping to pass it and earn college classes. I eventually had more opportunities to take the test and so I did. I had taken the test again and I passed it. After finding out that I had passed the test I felt so relieved since I was now able to take college classes and be further in the path of earning an associates degree.
After failing, I learned a valuable lesson which was to keep my head up and to not give up even if I fail. This valuable lesson that I learned in 2022 will impact my goals in 2023 because it will guide me into never giving up on my goals even if I failed once or even multiple times. I will give it my all and if I fail I will keep on trying until I have achieved my goal. I know that if I do not give up on my short-term or long-term goals I will achieve my dreams of becoming a nurse.
