My Education by Katelynn - November 2020 Scholarship Essay

The main part of my education that I'm thankful for is being able to get ahead with my career by taking basic classes while still in highschool. I have taken four of my college classes that I won't have to worry about taking when I get ready to go to college next fall. I believe that it is going to help me in the long run to get out of college and began my practice earlier.
I'm also thankful to be a part of the AVID program. If I wasn’t a part of the program then I wouldn’t have as much knowledge on colleges. I wouldn’t even know how to apply for colleges or scholarships. I wouldn’t even be thinking about my life after high school but, AVID has helped me decide what I want to do with my life and the steps that I want to take to get to the success that I deserve.
I am also thankful for the teachers that take their time out of their day to tutor me to make sure that I understand their lectures. I also appreciate the teachers that make extra assignments to help me get my grade up to maintain my GPA. I am also thankful that you took the time to read my essay.
