High school, it's a time in every pre-adults life where you are asked to decide basic things. These things can be from what you want to be when you are older, to how you are going to pay for college. However, a big question asked every year is how will you change, or in other words, become a better student. It has taken me a few years to decide how to do it, but I believe that I know how I will change to become a better, more exceptional student in 2016.
During high school, I have been very active. From volleyball, to school, and then work and friends, I have had a very busy life. However, one of my biggest flaws is that I was never very well at prioritizing my schedule, and I also was not very well organized. In 2016 I made multiple decisions that would help benefit my life. These decisions included becoming more organized, staying active, getting a good night's sleep, investing in a new alarm clock as well as calendar, and finally, learning how to prioritize my schedule. Not only that, but I have also created goals for myself which have included scoring higher tests grades, studying more every night, and overall raising my GPA in preparation for college.
So far this year, it has been very helpful and I have already made my grades go back up with tremendous improvement since the beginning of the school year. I hope to continue my improvement throughout the school year, so I can get ready for my freshman year of college. Furthermore, I can truthfully say that by setting goals for myself I have already become a better student.
