The Nobel Prize is a very exciting award to earn. There are hundreds if not thousands that apply and only one wins. The committee looks for very special qualities in the recipient. Some of these qualities are independence or persistance. The ones that I think are the most important and my fellow members agree are determination and strong belief in the subject.
I think that determination is extremely important because it shows character. Someone who gives up due to failure should not receive such a magnificent reward. It is not only an honor but a privilege and only the best should have it. Someone who is determined to do their best in something is the average but someone willing to push their limits is the kind of person who I look for.
Something as important as human rights, freedom, or even abortion are things that are widely talked about. These are the most common topics that people strongly believe in but I think that anyone that wants to make a change is a spectacular candidate for this award. Wanting to change the world for the better is the best thing you can do. I love someone who is passionate about their work. The world needs people willing to fight for a change for something they believe in.
In conclusion, I think that whoever we choose for this award will be spectacular. They will possess qualities of an elite human being. I am so proud to award someone with qualities such as determination and strong beliefs with this amazing opportunity.
