Universal TED Talks by Kamilah - July 2017 Scholarship Essay
If I had the opportunity to become a TED Talk speaker, I would discuss the importance of positive thinking and how you can receive your goals through investing in the thought of obtaining your goals. I would start off with an anecdote that introduced me into understanding how your thinking can influence your destiny. My story is about how I put out positive energy into something that I worked for and how it came to me. That doesn't mean wish hard for a Lamborghini and expect it to appear. Your desire for a product or opportunity may be genuine, but you won't necessarily receive it because you haven't worked to get it. Work in this scenario means putting positive energy and genuine effort into the opportunities you want to come your way. In these situations you have to ask yourself does your desire match the effort you put in. Putting positive energy into a task you worked hard is ensuring your dreams in your direction.
We function on a universal system that is based on the energy you give. This system records how you receive situations and how you can produce positive resolutions. If you react positively your results will be exactly that; what you give you'll receive. Controlling your mindset simply means, thinking things that can advance you in your situation. Thinking strategically so your vision comes your way.
Now in my TED Talk, I will ask for the audience participation. I have asked everyone to write a goal they are striving for on a piece of paper. I want the members of the audience to place this paper in a place that they can see every day. When they see this paper they should proclaim this goal. When you claim it and work to receive your goal the only way it can go is in your direction.
For the of my closing of my presentation, I will tell the audience that they control how they react and behave. Since we are accountable for our actions and beliefs, why not be accountable for making our dreams come true. In the closing of my TED Talk, I allowed the audience to come and ask questions. The questions they can ask could benefit them on their journey to obtaining their goals using the universe, or just be about anything.
