The Most Intellectual by Kali - December 2018 Scholarship Essay

The Nobel prize is the highest honor in the world for the best work in sciences, economy, and peace. Only the best and brightest are awarded this prize. If I were to award a deserving person the Nobel prize, the two major qualities I would look for would be: intelligence and understanding.

Intelligence is the ability to understand, be self-aware, and apply the knowledge one possesses. For me to award somebody the prize, I would like to see that the person was able to apply their knowledge well and use it to help their cause and others. This person should be an intellectual who can use their knowledge to enlighten others and spread their wisdom, and their cause to people around the world. This should be someone who uses their intelligence not to put others down, but to enlighten and brighten other people.

Understanding is the ability to adequately perceive another person's view or point. The winner of the Nobel prize should be able to understand a problem in the world, or understand something that could be better. They use their understanding to make the other people's lives better, no matter what field their end goal is in. A Nobel prize winner should be able to use what they understand and understanding of their field to help others and create a better good in the world.

These are the qualities I believe a Nobel prize winner should possesses.
