Dream Job by Kaitlyn - February 2019 Scholarship Essay

My dream job is to be an artist for Disney or Pixar. I love Disney and Pixar's artistic style and how they animate their characters. I am taking Digital Media and it is one of my favorite classes. I really enjoy creating things and being artistic. I would like to go to college and go into a couple art programs. I would like to try the different aspects of being an artist for Disney. Whether it is the concept art or the actual animating and see which one I enjoy more. I would also really enjoy going and watching how the whole process works when creating a movie. I would also enjoy seeing what it is like to work there and the environment of working there.
Along with being a Disney or Pixar artist, I would also like to be a dance instructor/choreographer. I have been teaching dance for the past 5 years and I absolutely love it. I would also like to continue teaching kids and I would like to go to college and take different classes to help improve myself in dance. I would also like to take classes that further my ability to teach kids when it comes to dance. I would enjoy taking classes to help improve my choreographing.
These two jobs are my dream jobs. I would love to be able to do both at the same time. It would be so fun working with Disney or Pixar and then going home to teach kids how to dance. That would be a dream come true. Both jobs would also work with having a family because that is another dream of mine. I would be able to work the jobs and be able to go home to my kids. I know going to college will help with both of these jobs and it will help my learn what I need to know to become a better artist and teacher. I am excited for my future and to see what I do.
