In the world today there are a lot of young adults opening their own businesses. Living in a small town I think it would be very important to have a business opening class. There are a lot of classes that go with business such as business marketing and business communications, but I think it would be very important to help plant the idea and have a class that will allow students to start opening a business. A lot of people believe that when opening a business that it has to be a huge and broad idea when that's not what it should be seen as.
As a young girl I have always wanted to open a salon and bring joy to people. By having a class that helps youth understand what it takes and figure out what you can do to start a business, being able to grow at a young age is what the world needs. With the economy struggling, there are a lot of teenagers that have had ideas of starting a business. In this business class it would give the opportunity for students to go see businesses and see what it takes from behind to be able to open a business and be successful in that business. Having the opportunity to take field trips to see people's businesses and seeing how to get grants and support, I think would be very beneficial to students.
