My Education
Through education I've learned hard work, decisiveness, and persistence can lead to opportunities I never knew could exist. My education as a college student has shaped me to dig deep within myself and overcome mental boundaries.
Additionally, education has shaped me to challenge myself at whatever I do. For example, my experience as a college student I've learned there will be times frustration sets in. It’s during these crucial moments, I've started to notice something; that when you work hard and don’t quit. Inconspicuously, opportunity has a way of presenting itself.
Relatively, I've learned beneficial advantages can be discovered by taking initiative. For example, two months before the first day of classes, I called my college and asked if there were any websites or prepping books available. The administrator indicated there were practice booklets available at the college, and a site called “Accuplacer.” Which is a website used to strengthen an individual’s weakness on a subject. This decisiveness was a significant approach towards my education, and a pivotal moment I can reflect upon, for motivational purposes.
Moreover, my experience has taught me to not give up and stay committed. For instance, learning math presented a challenge for me. The way I confronted math was by not give into the temptation of quitting, which helped me overcome mental roadblocks I had towards math.
My education as a college student has shaped me to believe I can accomplish anything I set my mind to. I've learned staying persistent can be very rewarding. Ultimately, my education has shaped me to be bold throughout my journey in life.
