What part of a college experience will you be most thankful for, and why? by Julissa - November 2016 Scholarship Essay

The college experience I will be most thankful for would have to be academic resources, the ability to network, and the campus life. I believe I will be thankful for these experiences because they can improve my college life. I would be grateful to have these experiences because they will not only benefit my future, but leave behind wonderful memories.
College will not be easy, but with the help of my hard-work and determination I will be able to graduate. However, all students need help from time to time so if my college were to have free tutoring labs, then I would be most grateful for this college experience. At the Austin Community College, they have free tutoring labs, and with the help of my tutors I passed my classes while learning more. I believe that tutoring labs improve college experience because it helps struggling students pass their classes and lower their stress levels. If the college I’m admitted in has these tutoring labs, then I know I can pass my classes with flying colors.
Once I graduate, I want to find a career and what better way to find a career than by using your network connections. In college, I will be most thankful for my ability to network with other students and professionals. A part of having a good career is to be able to find the right connections to attain that perfect job. My ability to network will not only allow me to meet new friends, but will also benefit my future career. When working in class projects, I can collaborate with other students and get to know how their work ethics and possibly work with them in the future.
Finally, school spirit would probably be the best college experience because it would allow me to create unforgettable memories. I believe one of the most important aspects of being in college would have to be school spirit because schools would not be successful without the love and support of their current student body and alumni. School spirit also makes every student’s college experience much better because it will remind them that college was one of their best times in their life. School spirit also allows students to take the stress of their minds and enjoy their youth in a healthy and safe environment.
