In exactly 10 years, I’ll be 28 years old. While I don’t know exactly where I’ll be, I’m open to wherever life takes me. I could be in Columbus, where I grew up and have always felt at home. I could be in Lima, where much of my family resides. I could be in Cincinnati, where I’m pursuing my education. Or, I might find myself somewhere completely unexpected. The location doesn’t matter as much to me as the life I build there.

No matter where I am, I know I’ll be successful. Success can mean many different things to different people—some define it by wealth or status. For me, success is having a loving family and a sense of peace. I know my education and career will help me achieve that.

I’m planning on attending the University of Cincinnati for Pre-Advanced Medical Imaging Technology, where I’ll become certified in both MRI and Nuclear Medicine Technology. In two years, I’ll earn my associate degree and apply for the highly competitive bachelor’s program. In four years, I’ll be graduating with my bachelor’s degree from this program. In five years, I’ll be working in MRI and Nuclear Medicine, thriving in a career I know is meant for me. My passion for helping others, my love for medical sciences, my appreciation for teamwork, and my shadowing experiences have all confirmed that this is the right path. Wherever I am in 10 years, I am confident I know I’ll be doing what I love, surrounded by the people who matter most.
