If I Was A College Professor by Jovan - August 2017 Scholarship Essay

If I were to be a college professor I would teach History. It would be something I could easily do and it's also something I'm good at. I've always been good in History and understand the past. I would have no problem teaching it.
When I was in 8th I would always not pay attention in History class and have low grades. My teacher would always get upside with me and I wouldn't care until one day I really got in trouble and I started to pay attention. My teacher would always be on me pushing me to study and focus. She taught me a lot of things and I started to get good grades. Now all I do is get good grades in History.
I would teach History as best as I can to my students if I was a professor. I wouldn't be one of those teachers that would just say things and wouldn't care, I would teach and describe the things I'm teaching, to help the students understand more. I would make sure they're on task and doing what they're supposed to be doing. It would be a fun class too, doing all sorts of fun projects and assignments but not to fun. It would be a great learning environment.
I would love to teach History if I really could and wanted to. It would be a easy thing to do for me. History is an important class to learn as well. We all need to know what happened in the past because without no past, there is no future.
