If you had the opportunity to create a high school extracurricular activity, what would it be and why?

If I had the opportunity to create an extracurricular activity I would create a fashion club. There are currently no fashion clubs or any similar clubs at my school so the idea of creating such a club sounds like a possible and a fun idea. I’m a person who believes people can express themselves through what they wear. People have many different styles of dressing and this shows the many different personalities that there are. I would like to create something where all these different people come together, share ideas, and express themselves.

In this club people would be able to express their creativity by sharing their outfits or sharing ideas they have for any clothes they would like to create. People show their creativeness when they go that extra mile and wear something fancy or “crazy.” I like seeing many styles of clothing and different people wearing different clothes so the idea of a club like this sounds fascinating.
Some other things we would do in this club can be having our own fashion show where people can attend, having a “dress-up” day when we can take pictures, and/or teaching others how to make their own pieces of clothing by using a sewing machine or stitching. This is a good idea because people would be able to learn from others and also teach others.

Although they are just pieces of clothing they can mean more than that to anyone. Whenever I wear something I like it makes me feel good and I feel better about myself. Others may feel this way too and through this club we can make others feel good about themselves too.
