My Passion to Serve
Several people asked my reason for wanting to become a doctor. Many people would think that because of its rewards in quality of life, economy, and knowledge. In reality I find a passion behind the career. My passion behind pursuing a career in medicine is to serve the community in many aspects; whether it is to serve them by dedication, care, and quality of work to ease their processes.
I serve the people as I dedicate to every person to successfully receive the service they deserve. For instance, in my junior year of High School, I served to contribute an educational demonstration of the response when someone suffocates. This happened at an exposition of emergency preparedness night; in which, I accomplished my service by the fact that the people learned how to respond when someone faces this type of situation. My dedication to educate the people that day could potentially make a difference in saving lives. Therefore, even a small dedication can make a significant difference.
Additionally, my passion to serve others includes the care of an adequate environment. For example, last year, I served in the care of a joyful environment for those who could participate in a sports activity despite their physical disabilities. This event was hosted at Great Bend High School. I served on leading people to receive the appropriate care when in need for a better quality in their activities. I was satisfied with the service as I saw people enjoying their involvement in physical activity such as sports with no barriers.
Lastly, I am passionate about serving as I improve the quality of processes to ease people’s duties. During this senior year, I volunteered to serve on food packaging. My service encourages and involves speeding up the process to pack foods faster. As a result, many families could be able to receive food, and that satisfies my service on the contribution of this service project.
In conclusion, I am passionate about serving people. Whether it can be in the medical field sometime in the future, and by serving the community in the present the passion of its process, l always find myself satisfied with the results of service that brings my passion even more.
