My major is Aviation. So it may seem like it isn't as beneficial as other majors but it is still beneficial in its own way. The first thing that most likely comes to mind when someone thinks of aviation is commercial airline pilots. But it can be a lot more than that. Aviation opens a bunch of different opportunities. It allows people to travel anywhere they want to visit. But it also allows people to see loved ones, spend time with them, and make memories with them. Aviation allows everybody to order a product online and get it in the next week and vice versa if you send a gift or letter. But air travel can also help save lives in ways you wouldn't think of.

Aviation has brought the world closer together, connecting all cultures, ethnicities, and communities. Air travel allows people to connect with family and friends across borders, building relationships and keeping cultures alive and known. Families separated within states or countries can reunite more frequently, overcoming geographical barriers and strengthening social bonds. Additionally, aviation plays a big role in promoting cultural exchange. People can explore diverse cultures, and traditions, leading to a more interconnected and understanding world. The tourism industry largely depends on air travel. It allows anyone to visit their dream city and learn more about that nation and culture. Aviation serves as a lifeline in times of emergencies, providing swift and efficient transportation for medical evacuation and humanitarian aid. Medical flights transport critically ill patients to special facilities and hospitals, saving lives by reducing travel time.

Air travel also plays a big part in the world’s economy. Air travel helps make trading and buying products and services a lot easier, more accessible, and faster. Products can be transported quickly and efficiently, enabling businesses to reach global markets and consumers to access a wide variety of goods from around the world. This contributes to increased productivity and boosts for businesses.

In conclusion, aviation stands as an important way of significantly benefiting society in different ways. Economically, socially, and culturally. People’s lives could be harder or completely different without aviation. So we should be more appreciative.
