In today's society I feel having a college degree is the greatest benefit a person can have. Upholding a college degree gives people many different kinds of benefits. The different kinds of benefits are; higher earning, more job opportunities, career stability, access to resources, and real-world experiences. Not only do we benefit from those listed before, going to college and obtaining a degree, you make lifelong friends and mentors to have forever. Also in today's world, having a college degree gives you a better chance of progressing in life.

Typically people who obtained a higher education than a GED or a high school diploma will receive higher wages/ earnings. People who don't obtained a college degree tend to live in poverty more than college educated people do.

There are more resources and job opportunities available to people who obtained a college degree. Then depending on the degree, you have higher chance of landing your dream job.

Also, with a college degree, you have a higher chance of getting hired for a job that offers a benefit package. It could include health insurance, 401K,PTO, and etc.

Lastly, having a college degree can just make you feel better inside. Having that feeling of you achieving something most people do not.
