I strongly believe in higher education beyond high school. Education brings people knowledge and knowledge is a power!

As a little child, how I wished I could earn my own money already and buy all the toys I wanted. But, my mother who is an immigrant from Taiwan has always said to me that “Knowledge is Money and you are earning money right now by studying hard in school.” As I grow up, what my mother told me always stays on my mind. I study hard and it has become naturally for me to do well in school. I get a sense of pride in myself for being a good student and also a taste of joy and delight from acquiring new knowledge. I want to continue my passion in pursuing knowledge in college. I plan to study business/finance and political science for my undergraduate degrees and then apply my knowledge to a law school to specialize in corporate law.

I truly believe in higher education. Education brings us knowledge. Knowledge is a power that will provide us with unlimited opportunities in our career choice. Ultimately, knowledge enhances our life, but most of all gives us a sense of pride and accomplishment.
