Valuable Lessons Learned Well by Jhericia - November 2013 Scholarship Essay
What is the most valuable lesson you've learned in high school and why? Well in high school there could many lessons you could learn from. Either you have done something wrong and it affected you in the wrong way and you have learned the hard way or you have just observed someone else's mistakes and are trying to prevent that from happening to you.
For example, in high school I have learned to never procrastinate. I have learned from observing others in my class during high school. They would turn in homework late, cheat off of each other, or just not turn it in at all. They would try and ask me for answers. If you constantly aren't determined to do you work, your teacher will began to think little of you and will assume most of the time that you haven’t did your work or haven't completed it.
Lesson learned is to never give up and settle for less, set your mind to something and you will overcome it. This lesson has made me become more determined and have more persistence. With that being said those qualities have helped structure me for the college life. You have be willing, determined, and have persistence to complete any task that will be thrown at you.So this is the valuable lesson I have learned in high school.
