I have loved sports my entire life. Ever since I was little, I can remember watching football on the TV every Sunday. My love for sports has grown, and I have realized that I want to work in the sports world. When I get to college, I plan on majoring in sports management.
I am an extremely organized person, and I love managing events. I enjoy putting together birthday parties, social events, and get-togethers. A sports management degree will allow me to pair a few of my favorite things, sports and management/marketing, and study them to earn my degree. Although I do not want to major in marketing, I find it extremely interesting. Since I was a little kid, I have loved selling different things, whether bracelets, necklaces, or the sugar cookie business I began when I was 12 years old.
I want to work in the sports world because I believe that it needs more people who are invested in the well-being of the athletes and the programs themselves. I do not want to do it for the money, but because I can make a difference in people’s lives. This could be by building a sports program at a school or managing events at a pro team’s complex.
I am a very diligent worker and I take pride in all of the work that I complete. I am extremely excited for the future and I cannot wait to chase after my dreams of working in the sports world. I want to help make the sports world an even better place that will allow athletes to thrive.
