The Nobel Prize was created by Alfred Nobel to honor our most outstanding in their work in physics, chemistry, physiology or medicine, literature, and the promotion of peace. It demonstrates scholarship, and shows pride in bettering the world we live in. You could even say it has a "noble" goal to honor our most "noble". In order to truly be a prize of nobility two important qualities of the possible recipients need to be considered. The qualities I believe a recipient should possess along with their display of outstanding work, are honesty and demonstration of being a hard worker.
Honesty is the key backbone to demonstrating citizenship to a greater community. Having honesty keeps people from cheating others. It shows commitment to not taking short cuts to achieve a personal dream, or to advance oneself economically above others. Honesty sets an example to others, and sets a higher standard of performance for all. Without honesty, a recipient, would not be able to demonstrate being noble and having honorable intentions.
Being a hard worker is equally important. It is quiet literally how the recipient shows they pursue to achieve greatness. Hard workers do not sit back and let someone else do all the ground work in a project, they stay involved, creating more opportunities to learn in the process. Embracing hard work, would be a key to the recipient demonstrating their ability to blast through difficulties and rise above others.
In conclusion, Nobel Prize winners have a large title to live up to. They should indeed be "noble". They show nobility via their hard work and their honesty. Hard workers are determined to participate, to be their best, to go further in a field of study than anyone else has ever done. Meanwhile honesty keeps the noble hard worker from cutting corners, cheating, and sets an example for the greater community to strive for.
