If I had unlimited time and money, I would leverage the learnings and experiences from high school and college. One of the key learnings that I have had thus far in high school, is the need for significant investment in research science. Investment ensures the availability of the right talent and resources to continually innovate.

I would direct my energy towards marine life, an area I am quite passionate about. I would invest money towards research, to grow the field of marine science. I feel that by increasing research investment, the discipline could attract the best and brightest talent. Having a higher degree of talent would encourage innovation, resulting in new technologies and discoveries that would improve the marine ecosystem.

In addition to investing into research, I would make scholarships available to the academic institutions that focused on this area. I would also make incentives available to companies that supported this research in the form of sponsored internships. I would fund the intern’s compensation. This strategy would encourage companies to support internships and provide opportunities in marine science that would not have been available to students.

In conclusion, I believe that by investing in research, we can continue to make a positive impact in the world, particularly in marine science.
