School Life Refinement by Jennifer - September 2023 Scholarship Essay

A school day for my current education consists of a tiring day of a four-class period. The bell entails when we have to skedaddle like birds flocking to their next meal. The day is tiring in the simple instances in which students face the tiring subjects of math to begin the day. A positive change the school could begin with is a thirty-minute breakfast for students who do not have time from the time they rise to the time the bell signals class beginning.

Though lunch is a break for students during the day this causes irks in which students have time to supposedly eat but the lines to eat lunch consist of hundreds of students obtaining a salad, some milk, and an orange is not always appetizing. The supposed time for lunch is spent going from your class to the restroom, locker, and lunch lines. We quickly have time against us as our thirty-minute period for lunch is only given. Easy alterations are maybe a five-minute extended period for the students for lunch. A possible reparation of having more than two bathrooms open so people can quickly use the restroom. This could easily bring great feedback to the students who really need to use the bathroom and positivity to the students.

Another positive change I would make with the authority given is to make sure at least the school I was in charge of can have pads and other basic necessities available for students. Like a student store for materials for the students when teachers ask for the evident back-to-school list they can easily make materials available. Which can cause less stress for students during back-to-school shopping. As for pads, I believe they should easily be attainable to females in bathrooms as this does sometimes cause discomfort when it happens and easily gains great positive feedback from the students.
