In my opinion I think everyone has unique characteristics, qualities, and or goals. Any time in life someone has to think of goals and success when approaching their junior and senior year. Some of us have different points of view for example me.
When I was in eight grade I started having a mindset like an eighteen or seventeenth year old. I was thinking of what I was going to do of my life when I graduate. The two things I would care mostly about were my family and my future. Thinking too much of our future will make things mostly go wrong because of overthinking. The problem with overthinking is that it makes people stress too much of something that will happen years from today.
What changed my point of view and thinking about my future was what teachers and counselors would always tell me. My counselor once told me, “ If you have problems in your family, home or outside school, leave them outside of school because things like that will have you overthinking and will not let you concentrate in what you want for your future.” In other words she wanted me to stop focusing in a lot if things at once and don’t just say I’m going to do something but to do it.
I feel really thankful for my counselor to listen to me and give me advice and support to get back in track and let my fears and problems on the side. The same way I let myself down in the past I got up and work hard to bring myself up and go far in life There should be no obstacles to correct ourselves and work hard for what we want.
