College means the world to me! by Jennifer - June 2013 Scholarship Essay

Attending college means the absolute world to me because ever since I was a small child helping my brother with his son, I have always wanted to teach little kids. I invest in my future in various ways because my future is the utmost important to myself. My biggest dream for my future is to become an educator for children as age as three years old to the age of teenager. The grade level that I am most excited to teach is kindergarten because I strongly believe that the right kindergarten experience can set a child to lead their lives in such successful ways. I invest in my future of being a future educator by going to Salisbury University and completing in very Education course that is available to students. I also invest my time volunteering at local Elementary schools and become a mentor for various students of those schools. Completing my Bachelor’s in Early Childhood and Elementary Education will allow me to do what I have always wanted to do: teach kindergarten. I believe that everything that a person needs to know to succeed in life they learn from Kindergarten and I want to make sure that the future generation of children are well taught and well educated. I want to be that teacher who can help teach the next Albert Einstein or Steve Jobs. I also want to teach students the important of morals and values so not only are future generations well educated but they are very respectful and well-rounded human beings.
