Education is key by Jennifer - April 2018 Scholarship Essay
Everyone has said education means a lot of different things to them. There are different ways to interpreter the meaning of education due to the fact that not everyone thinks that they need an education. From the moment you have been in school all your teachers have told you that your education is the most valuable thing that you can have. You were just a kid so you didn't understand what that meant I surely didn't. As I have grown as a person and matured, I realized that what they were trying to tell us this whole time was the truth.
Education is valuable because it’s the key to success, so my hashtag is #valuable. Everything you have been taught since you were younger you have used or will need in the future. An example that requires you to have an education for is jobs, no one will spend money just to hire an inexperienced person and you will need a job to support your family. Education is so valuable and a lot of people take it for granted while others in different countries are struggling to survive because they don’t have that opportunity or money to even go to school. I choose valuable because I really value everything I have learned since I was little. It has made me become the person I am today and it has expand my knowledge which will help me in the long run.
What education means to me is power because knowledge can help you with everything. It’s important to me because I want to learn more and be able to be the first one in my family to go to college. My teachers are the ones to inspire me and always told me that my education will never fail me.
