For me, education is all about refinement and improvement of a person’s soul. I personally, do not consider education limited to just a few bundles of books and homework assigned by a tutor. It does not count just mugging up few facts of science, history, literature or geography, but development in one’s personal character. This nine letter word is what shapes our four letter life.

Real education is what prepares us for our life. Education is a journey we all endure. It is a journey of refinement of an individual from a human being to being human. This journey is hard, but fruitful. All the experiences we share assist us to complete this journey by our intellect. At every step, we learn something new, we gain something new, we experience something new and we become something new. Education is not just the enhancement of consciousness but also the restructuring of the society.

For example, a kid who was bullied in school may develop a need to become strong and therefore he might become very interested in martial arts or bodybuilding. Most of the gym addicts I know were either bullied as kids or were involved in a physical fight before. Their past experiences motivated them to work on themselves and thus refine their lifestyle.

Education shapes our decisions with high magnitude to change our lives. It can change who we are and what we value, with reverberations throughout our careers and personal animations. We learn everyday, we educate ourselves everyday and we refine ourselves everyday. Because we cannot go through life and learn nothing, for to even make the realization that we know nothing, we have also realized that there is so much else in life.
