How Inspiration Makes a Leader by Jennabelle - December 2021 Scholarship Essay

Leaders are everywhere in workplaces, group projects, politics, and more. Leaders guide and motivate others to accomplish mutual goals. An important trait for a leader to have is inspiration.

Whether they have small or large goals, a great leader will always inspire others. A leader will inspire others to fight for a change. Passion for a change can affect one’s life and others around them. Inspiration involves trust, inclusion, a positive mindset, compassion, and more. Even if they cannot accomplish their goals at first, gradual change is bound to happen when a leader will listen to their peers and act on their concerns. In addition, being able to demonstrate a positive mood and environment will boost morale to those involved. Not only that, but in certain situations, you may also be able to inspire more people to look into this change that a leader and their followers are fighting for.

We can see inspiration in workplace leaders. Directors, supervisors, and managers should inspire their team. Workplace leaders will make sure their team will get their work done before deadlines. They should be able to bring out the best in their team and inspire passion in their work. Working alongside the team and giving positive feedback sets a mood for better end goals. They will inspire creativity and innovation.

In sum, leaders are everywhere and are important in our daily lives. Inspiration is key to making a leader. Inspiration can motivate, bring people together, and accomplish goals.
