Education has opened doors for me. Attaining a high school diploma gave me a measure of confidence. I was able to get a full time job after college. My high school Education gave me the skills I needed to do my job. I know my high school diploma played a big part in my success after high school. I want more doors to open for me. College will help me do that. Education has shaped my dreams. It is my desire to become a nurse. I want to care for newborn babies. A career involving the health of children will require many years of education. The nursing program at Central Oregon Community College is very competitive. I will be required to get above average grades just to get into the nursing program. Seeking an education will determine all my life choices for the next six years.

Seeking an education has now become my focus. As a nurse, education will continue to shape my future. Having a college degree will create security for me in the future. I have had a taste of the security an education can provide me. I plan to continue in my goal of becoming a nurse. This scholarship will help me achieve my attainable goal.
