A child will have many dreams of who they want to be when they grow up. Some may dream to be an astronaut and others may see themselves as a singer. Although children have different inspirations, someone guides them to be the best version of themselves. For some, teachers are very motivational and push students to achieve their academic goals, others use motivation from a celebrity to work harder and reach their goals.

Although many teachers have inspired me academically, I believe my great-grandma has been the most inspiring. She was not only academically inspiring but also inspired me to be a better person. My great-grandma passed away before I was old enough to sit down and have a heart to heart. During the time she was there, She taught me many things about how to live my life. She was a genuine and kind person. Being around her throughout my childhood gave me someone to base myself off of. She always made sure everyone was happy and had what they needed.

My great-grandmother inspired me to be a kind and caring person to everyone I met. She pushed me academically by showing me the potential I have and every opportunity available to me. She helped raise me to put my heart into everything I do. By caring about where I am going, I am motivated to do better. I do everything with my whole heart, and I do it knowing she would be proud of me as long as I am happy.
