Birth of a Star by Jaren - March 2025 Scholarship Essay

Within 10 years, as I'm typing this, I will be a famous actor, known for my roles in my movies, known for my interviews as well. Everything that every A-Lister has experienced and more. I truly hope that I made enough money to have a great and beyond comfortable life for me and my future family, and everyone I care about that will be in my life. I also will be constantly donating to different people in need all over the world, encourage my fans to do the same, if they have the resources, if not, I would encourage my fans, family and friends to notify me on anyone in need of help, or any current event going on in the world that would allow me to donate money to help people in need. I will have enough money to share my wealth with people in need and be so influential, it causes people to do the same. I believe that life is a beautiful thing, and that everyone should have that equal opportunity, I also don't believe that I should have so much wealth, that it passes countries GDP. I would hope to make a lot of money, so I can reach the level that I have everything set for me and my family, and more. I don't want to keep all the money I am making, greed and the lack of empathy is something that disgusts me. I truly am angered that lots of people that have that amount of money can be so heartless and selfish with their money. Finally, the last thing I would spend the money on is the future movies that I will be in, my mom will be the director, my friends will be the cast for the most part, but I would also find local actors or aspiring actors to be in it as well. This is where I see myself in 10 years, an A-Lister, Household Superstar that donates his money to many good causes and truly cares for people. I would hope I don't come off as performative, helping people is truly a passion of mine as well. I feel as if being an actor would be the most accessible way for me to achieve this goal I have of mine, a comfortable life helping out people in need, just living my life the way I have always wanted to, truly making my younger self happy, and granting my future children the life I always wanted, but also helping children in need to have the lives they want and deserve. I see where I'm at now, I don't have it the best, but I don't have it the worst. So I can imagine people that are less fortunate than me, i truly feel for them and I hope that I will be helping them out in the future. People being happy, filled with joy, is one of the most amazing things to me. If I can reach this goal, then I can give many people the lives that they've wanted, or at least make them more comfortable. Making people happy, keeping people entertained, making sure me and the people I care about are comfortable that's a goal of mine. I also hope that I have fully recovered from my depression. I am completely positive that this is where I'll be in 10 years. I am sure of it, this is my destiny.
