We all find ourselves indulging in various technologies to meet short-term goals. For one, during the last couple of years, I had to dabble in learning several applications to complete my assignments throughout high school. Especially a project management application called Trello. I needed to organize myself better to meet project and research paper deadlines. Lately, I have been researching future job opportunities when one gets a degree after college. All the job search engine results populate on soft skills levels, such as communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and adaptability. But my takeaway from the research I found that has the most impact on a successful education is digital literacy. Digital literacy is how employers look for people who can pick up digital tools quickly.

To summarize, we all indulge in various technologies to make our lives easier to reach short-term goals. However, digital literacy appears to have the most impact on a successful education because you are using various forms of technology to create the workflow to reach your goals that ultimately will help you land your dream job. Universities have implemented successful new application deployments so students can experience new technologies as they complete their degree requirements. New and updated technological deployment for universities is a game changer because students will be ready to tackle new technologies when landing new job opportunities.
