The past year has been crazy for everyone around the world. We have had to be flexible with school, events, and even sports. Though it has been a crazy year it has been a great learning experience as well. I have learned how to become a better writer, as well as being patient with everything going on around me. Life is challenging but especially this year I have learned a lot of life lessons.
In past years I have not always enjoyed writing quite frankly it was a part of English Class I did not care for. I have always loved English, however writing was not my cup of tea, you could say. One time I had to rewrite a five page paper the night before it was due and at the moment it was challenging but I learned a lot. Having patience is a big aspect of writing a paper. It takes time and dedication. Learning is an aspect of life however that will never be forgotten or not used.
I was determined after that paper to make the next paper even better. It took some time and definitely dedication but it was worth it. This year I have a really great English teacher. She has taught us step by step the meaning and importance of each main point of the paper and or essay. Honestly that was all I needed was for someone to break down his step to see why each step is so important.
Several papers later I finally started writing essays that had thought, effort, and dedication put forth. It was not easy at first but now, writing essays is not a struggle. I enjoy them so much more than I did in the past. I not only enjoy them but I learn more about other things or people that I might have never known about if I had never written a paper on the topic.
There are definitely times when writing that there may come more of a challenge. However I have learned that you can not give up, I have to keep trying and just learn more. I enjoy writing, especially when it is something that I am passionate about. Twenty twenty one has taught me a lot and definitely dedication, hard work, and not to give up, but most of all it has taught me how to be a better writer. In school or out of school writing is an important part of learning and education. Especially in a job one day.
