Mother and Manager by Jade - March 2025 Scholarship Essay

In 10 years from now I see myself managing my law firm in Springfield, Louisiana, while being married and having kids. My law firm will focus on helping people with their international real estate endeavors. For example, I will help people contract their dream vacation homes in France and Spain. I have studied Spanish throughout college, so I will use my knowledge of the language to help me assist clients. I also plan to study abroad in Paris, France this summer and learn French. I enjoy being able to understand people. My studies this summer will allow me to fully immerse myself in the French culture. This will be helpful with guiding my clients through the purchase process. I am confident that as an attorney, the combination of legal knowledge and an aptitude for understanding will allow me to create peace both inside and outside of the courtroom setting. Having a degree in humanities and social sciences will allow me to understand and adapt to the changing environment/economy to better suit my clients. I am excited to see all of the different opportunities and avenues that my education will open for both my personal and work life in the future.
