What book has best influenced my life? And why?
The book Night written by Elie Wiesel is considered to be a bestseller, as well as a classic, which has sold over 10 million copies. It is said to be more than a publishing Phenomenon, which helped Elie become an icon, and depicts the authentic definition of dehumanization, and bravery amongst many Holocaust victims.
This book has best influenced my life, because this book captures the most memorable real and very raw moments of Elies time in the holocaust as well as others. Elie overcame so much during his time in the holocaust, at such a young age along with many others including other children and adults overcame neglect in the most dehumanizing crucial way. The victims were beaten, had very little food, were separated from their families, witnessed murders, forced labors and much more. They fought for their lives every single day, and continued to be positive every single day. This book influenced me mostly because to know what these innocent humans had to go through on a daily bases makes me appreciate my life and makes my issues small-scale problems compared to these problems and terrible neglect that they had to face everyday.
This book also has influenced my life, because although he overcame such a difficult unforgettable time in his life. He is so humble and positive today. You would think someone who's witness the worst form of neglect would be bitter and mean. But he seems as if he lived a pretty easy going life. In which he did not. This makes me think about my life, and how no matter what evilness, neglect, or difficult things I face in my life. Always stay positive, and don't let that steal my sweetness. Elie is a hero, and he's my hero he faced many difficult things in his early life, that I couldn't imagine having to face everyday. And that's why this book has best influenced my life.
