The greatest benefits of a college degree are very simple in my opinion. A college degree is something that no one can take away from you. You can have it from as soon as you graduate to the day you die. How much you use it or have a job that requires it is up to you. Another benefit would be that if you had a degree, it automatically moves you up the hiring list if a job requires a degree. If a business or a company was hiring, they would pick the person with the degree instead of the person without one. A college degree also might help it be easier to move up in the job you want or help increase your salary based on just the degree. One more benefit would be that you would get hands-on experience or training. Taking classes that directly relate to your major or degree might help you get an edge on your future career or just plain help you get the experience to perform your job. Knowing how to work on something or just going and doing the job like an internship is a good tool to excel with a college degree.
