If you could study abroad, describe how you feel this would positively impact your college education. by Jacarrhie - November 2017 Scholarship Essay

If I could study abroad, I feel like my education would sky-rocket. Studying abroad allows you to travel to a new part of the world and try new things such as food and activities. As an individual, I love traveling. Traveling to new luxurious places makes me want to work harder to have things that I never had. New places inspires me to be great.

My college education is extremely important to me. Being able to travel and learn at the same time sounds exceptionally fun and motivational. There are many places where studying abroad can take me that I have never been before! Every time I see a picture of France or New York with the numerous people and flashing lights I become euphoric.

There are pros and cons to living out of the U.S. The pros are that you get to learn other people's cultures and traditions. The cons are that you are away from family and friends. Although, you get to meet new friends while you're out exploring the world so the cons aren't that bad.

As of right now, I live in a city that bores me. Other than college, there is not anything here. No monuments, attractions, water parks, nothing. The best thing you can do in my city is hang out at a restaurant. If I was able to live in a city where I could work hard then go out and have fun, I feel like I could have a remarkably successful career.
