The future ahead by Isabella - March 2025 Scholarship Essay

"Where do you think you will be in 10 years?" This question is one of the harder questions to answer as no one truly knows what the future has in store for them. In 10 years, I hope to be done with my undergrads and on to graduate school as I keep pursuing veterinary medicine. I want to hopefully be at Kansas State still and preparing for my board exams. In 10 years, I hope to have made some lifelong friends and be able to come back home and support all my friends as they finish high school too. Being happy is one of the most important things for the future and wishing that I overcame any challenges that came my way. The future seems very bright for me, and I hope I was able to make a big difference in those years allowing me to make many lives easier as life can be way harder than it needs to be. The future is full of unexpected events and challenges, but my goals should hopefully never falter off their original path. I know these upcoming years will be hard, but I know that through the love and support of my family and friends that I will be ok and accomplish everything I set out to do.
