My academic goal for the upcoming year is to build a professional network. Exploring and experiencing my career will provide great insight into my future. Building a professional network can help me gain career knowledge, appropriately interact with other professionals, and gain opportunities.

Firstly, gaining career knowledge is beneficial for building a professional network. I want to make sure I am connecting with the proper people. Learning about whom to connect with will help me be informed about my career. I will learn about business techniques and know about new developments. Gathering information from experts in my future field will offer me career progression.

Secondly, learning how to be proper with specialists will help build my network. Meeting your superiors is sometimes apprehensive. Engaging effectively will give me confidence and valuable social skills. Interacting with multiple people quotidian will also assure me that someone I know can help. People with expertise in my desired career will give me opinions that are creditable and a new perspective.

Finally, I will gain opportunities from networking. Networking with like-minded people will open multiple doors. Gaining a network will offer compelling recommendations. You never know who is hiring or has an internship available. Microcircuitry will get my name out there, so I know about opportunities.

Overall, my academic goal this year is to start networking and making connections. I want to gain opportunities and be sure this is the profession for me. I feel confident with my academic plan for the upcoming year. I believe I will end this year having gained opportunities, valuable social skills, and career knowledge.
