What academics would I teach and why? by Harley - October 2016 Scholarship Essay

If the roles were reversed I would teach mathematics because it is a subject I understand better than the rest. Another reason I would consider mathematics is because you need it in everyday life. Most of my peers and fellow classmates struggle with this subject and tend to come to me for tutoring. Some people just struggle more on other subjects than yourself. If I can tutor them to where they understand what they are doing then I could teach a class about it. No I wouldn't consider this as a career but I would love to know more on every subject for future purposes. I want to be able to help others with what they struggle with because I know they would help me when I need it.
Another subject I would consider would be English. I may not be the best at it but I know enough to help and teach others. English is one of those subjects that seem hard but really is not. English is only hard when you think to hard on what you are doing. If you relax and pay attention and take your time on work it would be so simple. I would teach any subject someone asked me to. I will not tell you or teach you on something I do not know but I will teach and show you what I do know.
