My Life Ten Years From Now by Hallie - March 2025 Scholarship Essay

Ten years from now I see myself moving to a new location, buying a house, getting married and having a family, building new and existing friendships, and having a career in web design. My high school and college education will have helped me by having a good foundation and understanding of my career. Along with helping me in other areas of my life.

One day, I plan to move out of my home state of Florida and have been considering many different options. One option I’ve thought about is moving to Tennessee. I’ve been there many times and love to see the mountains and nature. I would love to have a cabin surrounded by nature and with a beautiful mountain view. Another place my partner and I have considered is moving to Canada. I have never been there but I’ve heard some good things about it. As well as that, there are also gorgeous natural environments. I haven’t fully decided yet where I would move to, but I do know that one day I would like to move out of my home state.

My partner and I have talked about many different things, and we decided that we would love to get married one day and have a family together. We hope to adopt a daughter one day and love and care for her as our own. And adopt some pets as well, such as cats and dogs. We also plan to live in a small town and buy a house surrounded by nature. I also hope to grow closer to my current friends and to spend more time with them. Along with making new and strong friendships throughout my life.

In addition to all of this, I hope to have a career as a Web Designer. I hope that I can work with a good company and great people as well. I wish to excel at my position and hopefully be granted a high or good position. I’m excited for the upcoming projects I will be working on in the future along with the people that I will work with as well.

My education from high school and college will help me to become a web designer as well as to help me navigate throughout my life. When I attend college, I plan to get my bachelor's degree in web design. The classes I will take will prepare me for my career and all of the projects that I will be doing. My high school education will help me throughout my life and career as well. Classes such as Computer Science and Digital Design will have been a foundation for my career since I have learned some programming languages and principles of design. Two classes that will help me throughout my life are Spanish and Math for Data and Finance. These two classes can help me calculate and understand all of the financial aspects of my life. Along with allowing me to communicate and help others who speak Spanish.

Ten years from now, I envision myself in a new location, buying a house, getting married and having a family, building new and existing friendships, and having a career in web design. My education will provide a solid understanding of my career and help in other areas of my life. I hope to move to another state in America, or possibly one day to another country. I hope to have stronger relationships with my friends and to make new ones. In addition to getting married to my partner, buying a house together, and having a family. All while pursuing a career in web design. My high school and college education will have helped me by having a good foundation and understanding of my career. Along with assisting me in other areas of my life such as finance and communication.
