My ultimate strategy for success on a school project by Grace - December 2017 Scholarship Essay

My ultimate strategy for success on a school project is consists of four steps: starting early, conducting research, create a plan and follow through. No matter what type of project I have to complete this outline always works.
No matter what project I have, whether academic or otherwise it is essential to start as early as possible. Starting a project early give me time to navigate any bumps along the way. If there are no issues, then I'll finish soon. This is a bonus because, in my experience, big academic projects are often due around finals time, making finals week easier to navigate.
Conducting research allows me to make the best decision about choosing a topic for the project, sources, or the subtopics discussed. Doing research gives me an overall picture of what I should present or how should I present. Research is an essential second step because starting a project only to get stuck will waste time especially if I have to start over.
After conducting research, it is necessary to make a plan. An outline and a timeline to complete the project are also needed because it provides a clear direction for the assignment.
Lastly, if at all possible, stick to the plan. With projects due weeks away, it is very easy to procrastinate.
