Accomplishing a Dream by Gissell - April 2026 Scholarship Essay

I hope to master the anatomy of the human body within the next few years. This can include how the body works, diseases, cures, blood flow, etc. I am currently attending college in an attempt to master how the body works so I can continue my dream of working in the medical field. Ever since I was young, I hated seeing my loved ones in pain. I always wished I could do something about it to help prevent the pain that was felt. Now that I am older, it is what I am going to school for. I am hoping to help those in need, give back to the community, and help anyone placed under my care.
I plan to develop this skill by building connections in the medical field in order to get to higher places. Get good grades, do internships, and work for the community in the meantime. This scholarship would be a step into helping me achieve this dream of mine. It would be used to help pay for books, tuition, rising gas prices, etc. I am currently in school slowly getting closer every day to this dream of mine. Though it is difficult, saving lives will be difficult and I am more than determined to save anyone placed under my care. I spend the majority of my free time attempting to get ahead in work, studying, and now applying for scholarships to help me build a future in this career.
