School is a place that many high school students do not like and this is because of every rule that needs to be followed once a foot is on the school campus.
If I were to suddenly have the authority to change the school I would change the school rules that every student is expected to follow. A longer lunch period with the choice of leaving the campus to grab something they prefer to eat. Having only one option to eat here is not good considering people could have a hate or are allergic to what is being served with only 15 minutes for lunch is not enough. Phones are a big no no around here but I believe by them saying they are not allowed at any time even during break that it encourages students to test that boundary even more. Which is why I would allow students to be on their phones but only after each class period and during breakfast and lunch break. This would stop all the sneaking being on their phone during class.
These are the two rules that would be changed with me being the one with authority. Students would feel more comfortable and happier being here.
