All students in distance learning classes have 24-hour access to class lectures, class modules, and the syllabus. After students log in to a computer, they submit assignments and tests to earn a grade. Students may communicate with their classmates and teachers by posting in the discussion forums or sending a private message. Distance learning creates flexibility for all students because, at any time, they may send questions online to the teacher.

More schools are implementing Canvas as a Distance Learning system for online classes. Canvas features important tools including the syllabus, class modules, and discussion. Students have 24-hour access to the syllabus, class modules, and discussion. Also, students have 24-hour access to post questions online to Canvas’ chat room. After the student posts a question, the teacher will respond to this question during their office hours. The student may also send a private message to the teacher with any questions they have regarding class assignments. Also, Canvas’ calendar section lists all deadlines in chronological order. This calendar is beneficial because it helps students meet all deadlines for their assignments.

In 2038, I believe distance learning will be an integral part of education for all students. As technology rapidly advances, distance learning will rise in popularity among schools and universities. For example, more students use laptops to take notes and complete their assignments because laptops are in high demand. Students who enroll in distance learning classes are trained to become self-starters by managing their time to meet all deadlines for their assignments. Also, distance learning teaches students to manage their time wisely and work diligently towards completing all assignments before the due date. Distance learning provides the opportunity of online classes for students around the world who want to invest towards education. Distance learning motivates all students to complete classes and graduate while providing them with 24-hour access to ask questions when they need assistance. In conclusion, distance learning encourages all students to stay in school while preparing them for success.
