School has been a major source of knowledge that has helped define my moral compass. Various teachers have taught me to always dream big and that, once those dreams are completed, I must give back to the community that has inspired me and supported me throughout my academic journey. That is why, if I had unlimited wealth and resources, I would use my future architectural engineering degree to design and build economic housing for those less fortunate.

Ever since I was a child, I knew that I wanted to follow in my father’s footsteps and become an architect of some sorts, either through building houses or making roads. I was fortunate enough to get into Cal Poly San Louis Obispo, a prestigious polytechnic school, that is sure to prepare me to achieve my dreams of becoming an architect and provide me with the needed resources of creating affordable housing for all.

After obtaining my degree in architectural engineering, I would use my unlimited money to open an architectural firm where I could employ like-minded individuals who have the same goal in life as myself and develop a team of professional architects to start planning and building the millions of homes. I would then set up several trust fund scholarships that would give the opportunity to millions of children to achieve their educational goal and attend a four-year university.

I hope that these acts of kindness will pave the way for a more united and educated community that would stop focusing on the bad parts of life and start fixing major world problems.
