My Daily Inspirations by Gerardo - September 2019 Scholarship Essay

Everyday I learn something new, whether it is a skill or a lesson. But I just don't learn something new everyday, I get inspired by something new every day to pursue the career(s) that I want to have. My disability is Asperger's, but I won't let that disability get in the way of being inspired by the people around me that I view as my role models. These role models give me inspiration by telling me not to give up on my passions and to enjoy life at its fullest.
These role models are mostly composed of my family members who I want to thank so much for either bringing me to this world or making sure that I never give up on assignments. My parents have inspired me to be a responsible man who has to own up to his duties in order to benefit myself and others. My sister has inspired me to not be lazy and to help my mom with chores. This chores consist of cleaning the dishes or using the washing machine and drying machine to clean up my clothes.
These role models have helped me become a responsible man and not a lazy man who doesn't to anything to help his family. Without these role models I wouldn't have learned basic skills that would help me if I live by myself. My daily inspirations come from these role models and without these role models giving me inspirations everyday I would be a nobody.
