In 25 years I hope to have become a Registered Nurse and be working in an emergency room. This is my goal because I want to be able to help people, and at the same time gain knowledge on how medicine truly works. I want to be in a career field that is constantly changing, and has something new to offer each day of my life. Being an RN will help with this because the medical field is fascinating, and is changing almost on a daily basis. I always want to be able to expand my knowledge and go into a job where it is essentially a mystery each day, since you never truly know what you will encounter in an ER.
If I am in the medical field, I see myself learning new things by studying different things each day. I see myself learning about new diseases, and new treatments to help people improve their lifestyles. My knowledge will continually expand throughout the years since medicine is always improving, and new ideas/experiments are being introduced. I see myself going far into my education, and getting the highest degree that is possible in nursing. I see myself always reaching for a textbook or laptop to investigate new forms of medical care, and various ways to do my job in an effective way. Overall, in 25 years I see myself expanding my knowledge each day of my life, and always having something new to talk about with those around me.
