We're Stronger Together by Gabrielle - September 2019 Scholarship Essay

If I were to make an extracurricular activity, it would be called We’re Stronger Together. The purpose of this club would be to bring boys and girls together. Also in this club, it would teach them the purpose of giving back to the one that does not have as much as you do. Furthermore, it would help the high school students figure out what they would like to do when they graduate from high school. This would help them make sure that their mind is set on something important to them and it would help them stay committed to it.
The life lessons that this club would cover would be to teach them things that they would not normally learn in school. For example how to take proper care of yourself, personal finances, healthy relationships and more. Learning these things are very important because without these things it would make life harder for people. It also teaches you how to respect one another and learn to respect yourself it also gives you life experiences that they never thought they could get. It teaches the students that want to further their education, things that they would need to know to survive college.
The reason on why the club would be called We’re Stronger Together is because there are straight in numbers. Being united with someone and spending time with other people is a lot more fun than feeling as if you are alone. Those people care about graduating also learning things that are not school-related but life experiences. It is also nice to know that people are not selfish and wants about giving back. In this club, it is a great way to put smiles on the communities face.
Another reason why I would name this club We’re Stronger Together is because it is more interesting to know that other people have the same interests as others do. Knowing that there are people that want to give back to the community is something that the United States needs. Also, It is a great way to bring people together and make new friends. The other reason why I would name this club We’re Stronger Together it also would help the one that might have had a bad day it helps ease that frustration and make them feel better. There are opportunities in working with people that are having it rough at home. It gives them a way to ease that pain that they are dealing with.
This club will help the elementary schoolers see that giving back is fun and important. Which would make them want to do it also. It also would cover topics that are not heavily talked about while at home they would talk for example personal finance, healthy relationships, and the way they feel about other things.
Thinking about the motive of this club is pretty self-explanatory. The club We’re Stronger Together would teach people not to be selfish and to consider other people's feelings on certain things for example additions. I do believe that this club is something everyone needs to about taking.
Thank You for giving me this opportunity to put my idea of an extracurricular out there. This club would not just benefit the ones that are in his club but the ones who interact with the people that are in this club.
