In my sophomore year, I was on a search for what I wanted to do with my life after high school. It felt like everyone else my age already had their whole life planned out, and they knew what they wanted to do way before it was time to think. In hopes of finding what I wanted to do, I started getting more involved with my school with extracurricular activities like baseball and football, but it didn't help much, luckily something happened to me that helped me realize what I wanted to be, and that something that happened to me was me breaking a bone. I didn't realize it at first but it was a blessing because it helped me experience first hand what orthopedist do, they helped me so much during the period of time when I had broken a bone, it was very comforting, I felt like I was in good hands and that made me feel so much better and I wanted to be able to do the something for others, so I started to research what I needed to do to become a orthopedist and I saw that you had to go to medical school and one of the pre requisites to get into medical school is a degree in biology. So that's why when I go to college, I plan to major in biology, so I can continue down the path of helping others in their times of need.
