Knowing what you know now, what is one piece of advice you'd share with younger students? by Fred - April 2016 Scholarship Essay

Knowing what I know now, the thing I would tell the younger kids is to follow your dreams! Don't let negativity bring you down or block you from chasing your dream.
I would definitely tell the kids that hard work is hard and being good is not easy that's why they call it hard work. I would tell them that I have seen a lot of kids go the other way because there dream was to unrealistic and they wanted to be lazy. People who wake up everyday and strive to get better are actually trying to go somewhere in life.
I would tell them to be better than the person they were yesterday because the person you were yesterday is gone and now you have to wake up and show yourself the person you want to be. Life is going to be hard but don't let that bring you down make the most of your situations attack al of it with a positive attitude because being sad will get you no where.

To be completely honest telling someone what not to do is going to raise a curiosity of doing the complete opposite. The kids need to learn that doing the right thing is hard and having people in your life that can show you mentally and physically is where the learning process will kick in.
